DFS to consult on remote towers in Lithuania

Feasibility study will assess potential of remote tower's use in Lithuania

A team of Air Traffic Management experts from DFS Group will provide consulting services to
Oro Navigacija to develop a feasibility study, determine the scope and requirements of the
solution, develop a cost-benefit analysis, and draft the future concepts.

Oro Navigacija will use the results of the feasibility study for long-term strategic orientation.

It will be examined in detail where and in which form and constellation Remote Digital Tower
solutions would be a promising alternative to conventional towers.

The airports Kaunas, Palanga, Šiauliai and Vilnius will be in focus here.

The results are expected in December 2023.
