Intersoft Electronics upgrades radar simulator with 2048 target capability

Updated RES system supports Eurocontrol EMS 4.0 standard and replicates electromagnetic environments

Intersoft Electronics has released a major update to its Radar Environment Simulator with expanded target simulation capabilities.

The flagship system, which forms a key component of the company's RASS portfolio of test equipment, now simulates up to 2048 targets simultaneously. The update complies with the Eurocontrol EMS 4.0 standard and delivers enhanced simulation features.

The Radar Environment Simulator (RES) has been established as a reference standard for radar testing among manufacturers, Air Navigation Service Providers and Air Forces worldwide for over two decades. It supports testing for secondary surveillance radar, monopulse secondary surveillance radar, and identification friend or foe systems.

The updated system supports multiple deployment scenarios, including ground-based, airborne, moving, and shipboard platforms. It can also replicate complex electromagnetic environments featuring interference and jamming.

"This significant advancement reaffirms our commitment to providing cutting-edge solutions that meet the evolving needs of the radar and CNS systems testing community," said Intersoft Electronics.

Intersoft Electronics delivers radar and communications, navigation and surveillance (CNS) testing services and support globally through its team of specialists.
