Portugal’s Government has approved the reappointment of Pedro Ângelo as CEO of NAV Portugal for another three years alongside the appointment of other board directors.
The resolution also confirmed the continuity of Cristina Lima as a member of ANSP Nav Portugal’s Board and chief operating officer. He is now joined by Miguel Pereira, who has been appointed as the new chief financial officer.
The reappointment of Pedro Ângelo and Cristina Lima, as well as the addition of Miguel Pereira, reflects the continuity and strengthening of the management of NAV Portugal, the air navigation services provider in Portuguese airspace, said Nav Portugal.
The new structure of the Board of Directors aims to guarantee the stability and efficiency of the organization, at a time when the aviation sector is facing significant global challenges and, in particular, internal challenges in response to the high demand within our flight information regions.
With NAV Portugal playing a crucial role in air traffic management, the new management team is committed to maintain and reinforce standards of excellence, ensuring the safety and efficiency of operations.
