Portugal’s ANSP names Pedro Ângelo CEO

ANSP NAV Portugal has appointed Pedro Ângelo the CEO of its board of Directors and Gonçalo Vale and Cristina Lima as members of the board.

Ângelo takes over as CEO of NAV Portugal after almost four years as a member of the board.

Before that, he held positions that show considerable experience as a lawyer and specialist in transport law, particularly in aviation. He also has specific training in business management, having completed the Advanced Management Program for Executives at the Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics in 2021, and is in the process of completing the MBA at AESE Business School, in collaboration with IESE Business School.

Cristina Lima, has been an ATCO at NAV Portugal since 2004. In 2018 she was appointed head of the control tower at Humberto Delgado Airport and since 2020 has been head of air traffic for the Lisbon Flight Information Region, and so responsible for air traffic in the area of mainland Portugal extending to the Madeira Archipelago.

Gonçalo Vale has been a chartered accountant since 2014 and has held various auditing positions in the Deloitte professional services network, working with national and multinational listed entities in different areas of activity.
