Are you ready to elevate your radar testing capabilities? Join us for an insightful webinar on the Radar Environment Simulator (RES), a cutting-edge solution designed to overcome the challenges of testing Secondary Surveillance Radar (SSR). This session is tailored for professionals in air navigation service providers (ANSPs) who are looking to enhance their testing processes and ensure the highest standards of safety and performance.
Key challenges in SSR testing include replicating real-world air traffic conditions, managing complex electromagnetic interferences, and simulating environmental factors like terrain, weather, and windfarms. Traditional methods can be costly and time-consuming, often requiring live aircraft for accurate testing, which may still not cover all potential scenarios or stress conditions. Additionally, the increasing complexity of systems and associated standards adds to the challenge.
The RES is a game-changer. It is cost-effective because complex scenarios can be simulated without the need for live aircraft. Measurements are repeatable, ensuring consistent, controlled test environments for more reliable and comparable results. Real-world radar returns can be accurately replicated, and multiple target types and operational conditions can be simulated, enhancing overall radar validation and stress testing. The latest RES complies with EUROCONTROL EMS 4.0 standards. For military applications, it supports STANAG Edition 3 and Mode 5 certification requirements.
ANSPs will benefit from using a single, versatile test system to evaluate the performance of their secondary radars. This allows for the certification of these safety-critical systems against the latest standards, making future skies safer.
Don't miss this opportunity to learn how the RES can revolutionize your radar testing processes and help you stay ahead in the ever-evolving field of air traffic management. Register now and take the first step towards more efficient, reliable, and comprehensive radar performance testing!
Attendees will learn:
- Why use radar environment simulators
- How to test sensors against EUROCONTROL EMS 4
- The benefits of integral testing of a variety of sensors
- Mode 5 certification capabilities
- How to request a RES demo
